QUALIFICATIONS:
M.S. degree from an accredited school of nursing. Nationally recognized
certification in area of practice. Board
certification or Board eligibility desirable.
Current licensure in State of
JOB SUMMARY: Provide
Quality primary care services. Clinical services provided shall include
routine and appropriate ambulatory adult, pediatric, and gynecological care as
assigned. Experience in Ambulatory
primary care setting preferred.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care
appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over
the life span as pertains to scope of practice.
Audiovisual acuity to perform office diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures. Performs therapeutic procedures
such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing
infection. Instructs and counsels
patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal
growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living,
and health maintenance. Develops and
implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in
provision of continuity of care. Perform
comprehensive physical examination, and compile patient medical data including
health history and results of physical examination.
