M.S. degree from an accredited school of nursing. Nationally recognized
certification in area of practice. Board
certification or Board eligibility desirable.

SUMMARY: Provide quality primary care services across
the agency to meet our needs for access.
The APRN Floater would help provide coverage for provider absences for
our (4) four locations. This provider
will not maintain a patient panel, but will focus on acute patients and the
existing panel of the absent provider. Demonstrates
the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of
the patients served. Demonstrates
knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span as
pertains to scope of practice.
Audiovisual acuity to perform office diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures. Performs therapeutic
procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and
managing infection. Instructs and
counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens,
normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily
living, and health maintenance. Develops
and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in
provision of continuity of care. Perform
comprehensive physical examination, and compile patient medical data including
health history and results of physical examination.
